Medicare funding Psychology and Psychiatry
Under the Medicare ‘Better Access Scheme’ Funding is now available to all Australians to access online psychology, recently the government announced that telehealth services will receive permanent funding.
Our psychologists are Medicare registered. Rebates are available for residents of Australia with a Mental Health Care Plan and a referral from their GP that is valid for 12 months. Typically the gap payment for this service is between is $50 and $80 depending on the psychologist and your circumstances.
Our psychiatrists are all Medicare registered and rebates are available for eligible Australians. Assessments incur a gap payment of between $200 and $250 and follow up appointments incur a gap payment between $110 and $220 depending on the length of the appointment.
